After a few years of revamping the structure and format of the event The Final Fantasy Ball has 
returned and would like to invite you to join us in celebrating it's new home with SHADOCON!
On November 5th SHADOCON will host the return of one of the most romantic nights during an anime weekend! Join us as we tell a story of love, laughter, friendship and hope for all ages.

We are looking for dedicated individuals who will spend several months training to put together a beaitifully magical show.

• You must sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement for your participation in this event.
• You must be 16 years of age by the time practices start. 
  If you are under the age of 18, your parents or guardian must come to the tryout and sign the form or it may be notarized by a Notary Public of the State of Florida.
• You WILL be required to memorize your part from a script that we provide.
• You must be able to attend practices in Tampa, FL

Rehearsal dates for 2010 (9am to 4pm):
August:	21 (orientation - mandatory) 22, 28
September:	11, 18, 25
October:	2, 9, 16, 23, 30-31 (Dress Rehearsal Sunday)
November:	4 (set-up and mandatory rehearsal Thursday night at the Crown Plaza)

You must appear for the tryouts on one of the following dates:
July 31-August 1, 2010 and August 14-15, 2010

Attendance for tryouts is required only for one day.

Orientation/Tryouts start at 10am and 2pm each day.

Please arrive at one of the two starting times.  After your tryout is completed, you may leave.
IMPORTANT: You must sit through orientation. If you arrive after orientation at 10am starts, you will be held over until the 2pm orientation.

A completely filled out ShadoCon Performer Tryout form.

You MUST attach a normal, out of costume picture of yourself and may attach a picture of yourself in costume for the role(s) you are trying out for to your form.
Make sure all forms and pictures are stapled together (no paperclips please). 

NOTE:  Make sure the forms are properly signed!

Please wear comfortable workout clothes/shoes. 
DO NOT BRING COSTUMES!

You may bring a portfolio with you for the interview portion if you have one.



IMPORTANT:  Due to the nature of our performance, safety is of the utmost concern. As a precaution, if you are under the age of 18, ShadoCon is requiring this form to be signed in front of staff members by a legal parent/guardian.  If your parent/guardian cannot attend tryouts, they must sign the form and have it notarized by a Notary Public of the State of Florida.  NOTE: Failure to do so will disqualify you for tryouts.

ShadoCon would also like to express the importance of the rehearsals and training to the parent(s)/guardian(s) of the applicants under 18 years of age. The training involved for the performance requires dedication and commitment, and attendance to all practices is mandatory and necessary. ShadoCon would like to make the effort to stress the importance of the attendance policy to parents/guardians due to transportation issues, prior commitments to which applicants may be obligated, as well as issues that may arise throughout the course of the rehearsal schedule that would prevent the applicant from maintaining the level of commitment required for this show. Apart from being necessary to produce a successful, highly entertaining show, the rehearsals and training are necessary to ensure the safety of each and every cast member.
