The World of Shado is a weekend-long, interactive RPG using DICE-BASED COMBAT.

RULES
- Combat must take place before a GM (Game Master) in the Special Events area - it will be labeled, and there will be more than one GM available.
- No cheating. It's no fun if you cheat.
- We will be giving out pins for your level. Each time you gain a level, we will swap your pin for a cooler, more powerful one. You will also keep track of your level on your character sheet - available in the back of the con guide.
- Events in the con guide marked with an asterisk (*) can give you an Event Point, which you can trade for rare items. Show your character sheet at the door of the event to receive the point. The point will be marked on your sheet with stamp. Once you use your event points, they will be hole punched.
- In the special events area, there will be an item shop where a GM will sell you items you can use in battle. The COIN (game currency) you receive from battle can be traded for items here.
- This is a D10-based (ten sided die based) system. The GMs will be providing the dice, so there is no need to bring your own.
- Bosses use a different set of dice rules.

RULES FOR PLAY
(these are also printed on your character sheet)
- EXP: You gain 1/8 of a level for defeating someone two levels below you.
- EXP: You gain 1/4 of a level for defeasting someone one level lower.
- EXP: You gain 1/2 level for defeating someone your level.
- EXP: You gain 1 level for defeating someone one level higher.
- EXP: You gain 1 and 1/2 level for defeating someone two levels higher.
- Initiative: Both opponents roll a D10 (ten-sided die) to decide who begins each round.
- Actions: You have four actions to chooes from (Attack, Defend, Skill, or FC Card).
- New Round: Once everyone has taken a turn, the round is over. Re-roll initiative.
- ITEMS: You may use an item at the beginning of your turn
- Exploding dice: If you roll a 10, you get to roll again and add it to your total.
(Skills) If you roll a 10 on a skill, then that skill is doubled.
- Critical Failure: If you roll a 1, you lose the base stat you rolled for the round.
(Skills) If you roll a 1 on a skill, you take half of the damage from the skill (rounded down).
- Attack: Roll your D10 and add it to your base STR to lower your opponent's HP.
- Defend: Roll a D10 and add it to your base DEF to defend an attack.
- Skill: Roll a D10 and add it to your base INT to use a skill.
- FC(Fighting Chance): Draw a card and test your luck. If the card says (Keep), you may keep these cards and use them when needed during the combat. (Use Now) You must use this card once it has been drawn.
- HP(Health Points): This is your health. Once it reaches 0, you have been defeated.
- SP(Skill Points): This decides how many times you may use a skill successfully. If you roll a 1, it counts your skill as used.
- Coin: The coin you receive from battle can be traded for items at the Items Shop.
- Stat Increase: When you gave a level, you will receive three Stat Increase Points. You can only increase a stat by two points per level - except for HP, which you can only increase by one point per level.
- Boss Battle: If you defeat a boss, you gain one free stat increase.
- EP(Event Points): You can gain some rare items through event points. To gain event points, attend the events marked with a (*) in the Con Guide. Show your character sheet at the door to receive the Event Point.
