ShadoCon now has its own APP!

Keep up to date with all the latest ShadoCon news and more, simply by downloading one of the “EXMO” links posted below.

Then from EXMO, search for “ShadoCon 2014″ and get ready to have your mind blown by all the amazing features and surprises in this wonderful app.

What does this app do, you ask?

From the EXMO app, you can view the convention layout, as well as a detailed schedule of all ShadoCon events. You can start a discussion with other app users, create your own agenda, check out polls, and create social events throughout the con and even before the con. Any information you might want will be on the app – guests, rooms, schedules – you name it, it’s there.

We will be able to keep you all posted throughout the weekend with notifications, so if there are any schedule or room changes you will be the first to know!

Below you will see our new convention layout for ShadoCon. We’ve added a few more rooms and areas that you might want to take note of. We’ve added a Maid Cafe and a Workshop room this year. On top of that we will be hosting outdoor activities which include festival games, dodge ball, and even a water balloon war! We are excited to release all these new events this year and more will come all in due time.

Please welcome back these 3 amazing groups; The Pleasure Pixels, aniRAGE, and The Crazy Random Happenstance!

Pleasure Pixels:
The “Pleasure Pixels” is a burlesque troupe formed in the style of vaudeville-esque burlesque with a neo-burlesque twist and cultural influences. The troupe has performs both classic stylized burlesque and burlesque numbers that include anime and video game characters.
The troupe formed in September 2012. They performed two months later at Shadocon 2012 (an anime and comic book convention). The show featured five group acts featuring such characters as Sailor Moon, Hermione Granger, and Babydoll from Sucker Punch (among others). The troupe has competed and won their first competition in March 2012. They are officially Pinup America’s “Best Troupe in America” and are featured in the magazine.

aniRAGE:
If something strange is in the neighborhood, you call the Ghostbusters. If you got a problem, Vanilla Ice can solve it. But if you want top quality improv and sketch comedy blended with a passion for all things nerd, you turn to aniRAGE. Crazy Random Happenstance:
Calling all Evil League of Evil applicants! Come out to see the live cast of the Crazy Random Happenstance perform the inspiring story of Dr. Horrible in the Dr. Horrible Sing-Along Picture Show. The Crazy Random Happenstance has performed at many conventions throughout Florida!
This show is interactive, much like the Rocky Horror Picture Show: The LIVE shadow cast acts out the musical in front of the screen while everyone in the audience is not only allowed but ENCOURAGED to sing-along and shout random callback lines throughout the show. For those that don’t know what to say, the cast will provide FREE suggestions in the form of an audience participation script. Be sure
to come dressed as your supervillian persona for a chance to be in the Evil League of Evil!

We have updated the ShadoCon website and streamlined a lot of the information. We wanted a layout that would be easier to maneuver in and a bit less cluttered. The layout isn’t the only thing we updated. You can now purchase you passes, submit panels, submit contest entries, watch past show videos and stay connected to the ShadoCon community directly from this website.

We have implemented a new feature to the website called the “Shado Realm”.  The Shado Realm is a social network built right into this website. You can make a profile, post pictures, post videos, join groups, comment on updates and connect with all your friends. More features will become available as we continue to update the website.
